What Film Logbook does
Film Logbook is the memory a film camera doesn't have. You note what matters while you shoot, then read it back when you develop, scan and edit. This is what version 1.6.1, currently on the App Store, gives you:

Getting started
Start a roll
Add the film stock, ISO, camera and lens you're loading. The free version keeps up to two active rolls at a time.
Log frames as you shoot
Aperture, shutter, exposure compensation, meter reading, a note, a reference photo, a tag — as much or as little as you want per frame.
Read it back when you develop and scan
Open the roll next to your negatives or scans, then export it as JSON or PDF if you want a copy outside the app.

Frequently asked questions
How do I restore Film Logbook Pro?
Open Film Logbook, go to Settings, open the Film Logbook Pro screen and tap Restore Purchase. Use the same Apple Account that made the original purchase. Pro is a one-time purchase, so it restores on every device signed in to that account.
What does Pro add?
Pro is a one-time purchase — no subscription, ever. It lifts the two-active-roll limit, adds printable PDF export, and unlocks custom app icons. Everything else is free: rolls and frames, reference images, tags, double exposures, optional location, iCloud sync and JSON export. See pricing for the current price, which varies by region.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored locally on your device and, when iCloud sync is enabled, in your private iCloud account. Film Logbook does not operate its own user-account server, so the developer has no way to see your logbook. Details are in the privacy policy.
How do I enable iCloud sync?
Make sure you are signed in to iCloud, that iCloud Drive is enabled, and that Film Logbook has permission to use iCloud in iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud. Sync may take a few moments after opening the app on another device.
Does the app work offline?
Yes — logging works fully offline, which matters out shooting and in the darkroom. Changes sync through your own iCloud account once you're back online.
How do I export my film log?
Open a roll and choose Export as PDF for a clean, printable sheet (Pro). For the whole logbook, use Export All Films in Settings to get structured JSON with image IDs — free, and yours to archive however you like.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual rolls or frames inside the app. To remove all local data, delete the app. The copy stored in iCloud can be managed through your device's iCloud settings.
My purchase or sync is not working. What should I send you?
Include your device model, iOS version, Film Logbook version, and a short description of what happened — what you tapped, what you expected, what you saw. Screenshots are helpful. Please don't send sensitive personal information.
Can I help test new versions?
Yes — the TestFlight beta is open, and feedback from it shapes what ships.
